Meanwhile, one of my Glee favorites, Darren Criss, got a good laugh when I told him that his dear friend Caitlin (Glamour’s Entertainment Asst., and Obsessed contributor), and I were going to have a cupcake face-off when I’m in NY in September. Caitlin is Team Magnolia Bakery, while I’m Team Sprinkles. (For the record, Caitlin hasn’t had Sprinkles yet… but that’s going to change!) As for Darren’s favorite? “They’re all the same to me. They also opened up franchises—and no disrespect to Sprinkles or Magnolia—but [it kind of loses the speciality] when they expand. There’s no competition with cupcakes. If it’s sweets, you’re in a good place!” Well said, Darren, well said!
